Erick Erickson wrote an editorial this morning about getting downright dirty in an organized fashion. He explained that progressive liberals have been doing it for years by using funding from major corporations. Locally we have had the inner workings of WTHC and its foundations with JEA to push progressive agendas. This are only two of multiple muni's that have tried and seceded in having law move in their favor. On the national level we have established companies such as Target and General Electric as well as newer industries such as Netflix, Amazon.com, etc. that have pushed a social liberal agenda toward the mainstream. These organizations are trying to financially impact conservatives in the way they have done so with talk radio, Fox News, etc. The Boy Scouts didn't fail because of its position, it failed because of money. As Erick said "It is, at this point, obvious the left is weaponizing the mob to harass, silence, and dry up revenue from conservatives and their causes."

"I have always hated the idea of boycotts and calls for demonetization of critics. I have always hated harassing private businesses over politics. I think it is bad. But it is clear progressives are taking advantage of that conservative reluctance to shut down and censor conservatives ....."
Erick Erickson

I am not sure that boycotts will work to our end but they have hurt, just not enough.

We need to think about this and think how best to push back.
